The Best Place to See The Northern Lights

“This time lapse was shot mostly in October 2015 during a few great periods of particularly active aurora borealis. All locations are around Inari in Lapland, Finland.
In real life the auroras are usually a little less bright and vivid, and they move a lot slower than this. Nevertheless, the sight of them is truly amazing and not something you can easily get bored of! Inari is far enough north that you can see northern lights nearly every night. Provided it isn’t too cloudy, of course.

I shot everything with a Nikon D610 + Samyang 14mm 2.8, and edited in Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve.”
