This is what Midsummer in Lapland looks like

The sun does not set in Lapland, and nature is in full bloom. You might still see some snow here and there, but most of it is gone. Instead, there is beautiful greenery all around us. Here are some photos to show you what Midsummer looks like in Lapland.

As the snow melts, rivers in Lapland tend to flood, and it can sometimes get pretty serious. This is the Ounasjoki river.
